Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey, PVC (25 June 1975 – 3 July 1999) was an officer of the Indian Army who was posthumously awarded India's highest military honour, the Param Vir Chakra, for his audacious courage and leadership during the Kargil War in 1999.

Manoj Pandey continued fighting along with his troop, clearing the second and third bunkers, killing two invaders again and it was then that he cleared the fourth bunker with a grenade which gave him a fatal burst and a shot at his forehead by the enemy. He finally collapsed and succumbed to injuries.
Capt Manoj later succumbed to his injuries and was martyred at the age of 24 years. The troops under the command of Capt Manoj gained control over six bunkers and killed eleven enemy soldiers besides getting a good stock of arms and ammunition including an air defense gun.
