Major Sandeep unnikrishnan

 Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, AC was an officer in the Indian Army serving in the elite 51 Special Action Group of the National Security Guards. He was martyred in action during the November 2008 Mumbai attacks.

Sandeep Unnikrishnan came from a Malayali family residing in Bangalore, where they had moved from Cheruvannur, Kozhikode District in the state of Kerala.[4] He was the only son of retired ISRO officer K. Unnikrishnan and Dhanalakshmi Unnikrishnan.[5][6]


Sandeep spent 14 years at The Frank Anthony Public School, Bangalore[7] before graduating in 1995 in the ISC Science stream.[8] He wanted to join the Army, even attending school in a crew cut. His peers and teachers recalled him as being a good athlete who was active in school activities and sports events.[9] He was also a member of the school choir and enjoyed watching movies.[9][10]

Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan was married to Neha.[11.

Along with bitter memories of the unprecedented violence, the bravery of Indian security personnel, especially of NSG commando, the late Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, is etched forever in the hearts of Indians. Dr Vikram sarabhai

 Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai was an Indian physicist and astronomer who initiated space research and helped develop nuclear power in India. He was honoured with Padma Bhushan in 1966 and the Padma Vibhushan in 1972. He is internationally regarded as the Father of the Indian Space Program.

Dr. Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai was born on 12th August, 1911 in Ahmedabad. He completed his initial education in Ahmedabad only. In 1938, he came to Ingeland. From Cambridge University he completed in Ahmedabad only. In 1938 he went to Inzland. From Cambridge University, he passed the Tripos examination in physics. Because of World War broke out, they could stay there and do not study further and returned to India.


Dr. Sarabhai started working at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He got along with the famous scientists Dr. Chandrasekhar Venkataraman and Dr. Homi Jahangir Bhabha. Vikram was engaged in research work with them. In this way these three great scientists surprised foreign scientists with their own discoveries.

 

Dr. Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai did a lot of research related to cosmic rays. What are the changes in cosmic rays, in what situations, why they are, this was their important discovery.


For this, they had to do research work at the weather forecasting center. To study these rays also went to the Himalayan regions.
